My Pregnancy: Week 17

How Far along? 17 weeks

Size of the baby? the baby weighs around 5 ounces and is around 5 inches long from head to bottom!

Any new symptoms? Nope, not this week. But I did have a strange return of my morning sickness that I thought was gone. Been having some rough mornings but no nausea during the rest of the day.

What are you craving? biggest cravings this week have been cheese with crackers and chocolate almond milk. YUMMM. Also WATER, because it has been sooooo hot. I live by the "drink when you are thirsty" rule and I'm thirsty all day lately.

Total weight gain? 3 lbs!

Baby Bump? yes, it's a little more than just a 'bump' now though. lol

Movement? Lots of movement this week. The hubby finally got to feel the little kicks himself! :D

Any feelings about gender?
my mostly girl vibes have been replaced with "I have absolutely no idea" vibes. This pregnancy is so different than my daughters. I've been going back-in-forth between thinking girl or boy all week.

Nesting? not really, no.

Sleeping well? the last couple nights I haven't, I think it has to do with the dry weather. I wake to drink and pee 2-3 times a night!

Buy anything for the baby this week? nope. But I did buy some new birth books to read. :)

What are you looking forward to? I am looking forward to reading my books and slowly starting to prepare for the arrival of this baby! Also finding out the sex(hopefully) in the next couple weeks.

What are you enjoying the most/least about being pregnant this week? Hearing the heartbeat this week was wonderful, hope I get to hear it again soon, still getting a hang of this fetoscope! I am not digging the nose bleeds this week from the dry weather. boo.

  2. Congrats! Your bump is super cuteness! and I chugged chocolate almond milk during Ot's pregancy too (reminds me we have vanilla in the fridge).

  4. I'm gonna have to try chocolate almond milk... My pregnancy has been way different from my first, too. I hear that's normal, but it still seems weird to me.
